Dear Friends,

We are excited and honored to announce that Queensbridge Summer Art Program has become it’s very own federally recognized nonprofit 501c-3 – ART CLUB 3000.

We piloted this program in the Summer of 2022 with crowdfunding, in-kind donations and volunteer support. It is a FREE six-week summer art program for students living in the Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City, Queens. Our program is centered on building community through providing mentorship and support for a small cohort of students, ages 13-19. Students study drawing, painting, sculpture, music production, and filmmaking with practicing artists. We go on trips to cultural institutions and provide lunches and transportation.

This program would never have survived the pilot stages without the generous support of our donors and community. With that, I ask that you keep this support going so we can continue this program in our community for years to come. Your donations help us to purchase supplies, provide food and transportation as well as amazing instructors and mentors.

We promise to keep you updated and can’t wait to see you soon.

With Much Love and Gratitude,

Kerry da Silva Cox
